GfG Controller for up to 8 or 16 sensors

Gases are used in many areas as technical production or working materials. They are stored, transported, or occur as waste. These gases are often toxic and thus present handling problems.
Most toxic gases are not perceptible to human senses. However, even minimal concentrations can cause acute poisoning or long-term damage.

Remote sensors NH3

pdf. file 011.RC NH3

Remote sensors are installed where toxic gases can occur and endanger human beings. Even minimal gas concentrations are detected by the remote sensor and transmitted to a monitoring and analysis unit in the form of current and voltage signals.
The three measuring processes (chemosorption, carrier injection,  electrochemical and infrared sensors) enable a wide variety of measuring requirements in respect of toxic gases to be met.

Here is a small extract from more than 100 different toxic gas hazards:
ammonia, chlorine, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, nitrogen oxide, FCs and CFCs (Freons), as well as carbon dioxide, etc.

Typ EC28/CC28
State-of-the-art Monitoring of Toxic and Combustible Gases ATEX certified

Advanced technology
Wherever hazards are induced by combustible gases or vapours, the transmitter CC28 and GfG's proven controllers are the best solution for reliable surveillance. The ATEX-certified design (` II 2 G EEx dem [ib] IIC T4), a built-in, Ex-proof buzzer and bright alarm LEDs provide safe operation including visual and audible warning even in hazardous areas. Thus the gas alarm does not only alert the man in the control room but also the person at site.

Smart sensors
The Smart Sensor Technology makes installation or sensor replacement a matter of seconds - just plug the sensor into the transmitter. Adjustments are done with touch keys directly at the transmitter or by means of the remote control (one man calibration).

Remote Control RC2
Several combustible gases are lighter than air. With the transmitter installed close to the ceiling, the remote control allows to do all adjustments without having to climb up a ladder. A helix cable connects the remote control to the transmitter. The display of the remote control always shows the same reading as the transmitter. The remote control facilitates inspection, service and calibration considerably. Additionally the indication of the present gas concentration allows to use the remote control as an external display.

Reliable detection, minimized cost of ownership, increased safety
The sensor and the integrated temperature compensation provide highest measurement accuracy. Low maintenance requirements and long sensor life reduce your cost of ownership. Just sign a service contract and don't worry about any problems. We will service your system in regular intervals.

Integrated alarm - No cost for Ex-buzzer, Ex-light and wiring!
With model CC28 D the present gas concentration can be read at site from the display of the transmitter - and from the GMA controller.
Model CC28 DA provides additional warning by means of bright alarm LEDs and buzzer - thus avoiding additional expenses for Ex-proof buzzers and lights and for the wiring from controller to alarm devices. In combination with GfG's most flexible control monitors the CC28 provides extraordinary solutions for favourable and reliable monitoring of combustible gases.
Advantages at a glance
  • Display of gas concentration at display or at remote control
  • ATEX ` II 2 G EEx dem [ib] IIC T4
  • Ex-proof visual and audible alarm
  • No need of expensive Ex-buzzer, considerably less wiring
  • Smart Sensor System - easy sensor replacement by plug-in sensors
  • Long sensor life
  • Low service requirement
  • Permanent status display (operation/fault/service) at transmitter
  • Adjustments with touch keys or remote control, without opening the casing
  • Easy handling even in hardly accessible transmitter position (e.g. below ceiling

Oxygen sensor  O2

Oxygen is an essential gas for all living things. In fresh air the oxygen concentration is approx. 20.9 vol.%. Fluctuations in the oxygen concentration in fresh air are extremely small. Our organism reacts all the more sensitively to any change in the concentration in the air we breathe.
For areas in which only a small residual oxygen content is permissible, the low concentration is monitored with a remote sensor for small measuring ranges.

Chemical measuring cells or zircon oxide measuring systems guarantee accurate, reliable measurement. GfG probes are also pressure and temperature compensated.

Controllers

No head without a body... we work according to this principle, too. It goes without saying that the body (controller) should also be as good and inexpensive as possible.

GMA 160   The Controller for each gas

GMA 160.pdf

If you look to the future, you'll opt for the state-of-the-art, microprocessor-controlled GMA 160 monitoring and control device. The practical, space-saving multiplexer structure has many advantages. For one, it is compact and is very easy to install without using a rack; for another, 8 sensors can be connected at once to the GMA 160. As you can see, the price/performance ratio of the GMA 140 is right.
Special edition for CO (Cabonmonoxid) used in detection of CO in garages with a possibility of connection till 8 or 16 sensors.
You'll see it - we are one step before and if you want you too.

GMA 011Controller for one measuring point

GMA011engl.pdf

All sensors for air quality monitoring and also the measuring signals from water measurement technology (MiniCal II) can be connected to the modern GMA 011 controllers. The unit displays the physical unit of measurement and measuring range as well as continuously indicating the measured value. Limit values, 3 relays for limit values I, II and technical malfunction can be used for switching/signalling via the microprocessor with 2-key operation. The easy-to-install snap rail attachment enables the units to be mounted quickly, without using a rack. Further advantages are 230 VAC or 24 VDC power supply, mA output, external acknowledgment, etc., etc.

These units are ideally suitable for combination when measuring different gases and for water measurement technology. Further advantages are display and evaluation for each sensor.
